Everything you need to get started and make the most of Chef's Companion.

Getting started

1. Register your kitchen

Go to app.limpo.se/register, enter your business name, email and password. Free accounts are approved instantly — you'll be cooking in under a minute.

2. Invite your team

Go to Settings → Team and add staff accounts. Each person gets their own login with a role (CDP, Sous Chef, Head Chef, etc.) that controls what they can see and do.

3. Explore the modules

The sidebar gives you access to everything: recipes, menus, HACCP, cleaning, prep lists, stock, purchasing, rota, and more. Start wherever makes sense for your kitchen — there's no required order.

Changing language

Chef's Companion is available in English and Swedish.

  1. Sign in and go to Settings (gear icon in the sidebar).
  2. Under the General tab, find Language.
  3. Select your preferred language from the dropdown.
  4. The interface switches immediately — no reload needed.

Plans & features

There are three plans. All plans are per kitchen, not per seat.

All current registrations are free during early access. We'll contact you before any charges begin.

Managing your account

Exporting your data

Go to Settings → Account and click Download my data. You'll receive a JSON file with everything we hold — recipes, menus, logs, staff records, the lot.

Deleting your account

Account owners can permanently erase their account from Settings → Account → Delete account. This anonymises all personal data and cannot be undone. Staff accounts are removed by the account owner.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use it on my phone in the kitchen?

Yes. Chef's Companion is fully responsive and works on any device with a browser. There's also a Kitchen Mode with larger buttons designed for touch screens in hot, busy environments.

Is my data stored in the EU?

Yes. All data is stored on Hetzner servers in Germany. We do not transfer data outside the EU.

Do you use cookies for tracking?

No. We use a single essential session cookie. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party tracking. See our Privacy Policy.

Can I try it before registering?

Absolutely. Visit demo.limpo.se to explore a fully loaded demo kitchen. The data resets every night, so feel free to experiment.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

Email support@limpo.se and we'll help you reset it. Self-service password reset is coming soon.
